A terrific evening in prospect with the Blues Chapter, still officially the finest young (just) blues band in the capital, returning to rock the house with their blend of original and classic material. Guaranteeing not to be too loud, this band is a must see. Sky Wood’s vocals, harmonica and acoustic guitar set the tone with the full band comprising Jesse Thomas on lead guitar and backing vocals, Jake (Professor Redhair) Thomas on keyboards, Lyndsay Craig on bass and the incomparable Niol Sweeney restored to his rightful place on the drum throne from where he also contributes backing vocals.
Half time support from Big Alan Craig completes a great line up.
This is always one of the most popular evenings so you may wish to arrive early.
And if you haven’t had enough of them then on Sunday evening Sky and Jesse combine as Two Man Job for some chilled out acoustic blues in the St Monica’s bar.
